While every instrument is different, our Repair Pricing Guide listed below can be used as a guide for estimated prices for your repair work. Repair pricing is always best if quoted in person, so call us today to set up a consultation at 1(812)200-3300. We’ll look forward to hearing from you!

Please note -

Timeline for repairs is in the order they are received. Depending on the amount of repair necessary, this could take anywhere from 2 days to 2 months!
We complete repairs in our shop generally on Tuesdays through Fridays. We require a minimum of 48 hours for all repairs (including restringing). If you need an instrument restrung quickly, we can do this in a “Rush”, but we do charge an additional Rush Fee of $20 for 24 hours or less.

TUNING ONLY:

· 3 to 8 strings = $5

· 9 to 15 strings = $10

· 16 to 36 strings = $15

· 37 or more strings = $20

RE-STRINGS:

· 6-string, Dulcimer, Ukulele, Violin = $20 + Strings (cleaning included)

· Classical guitar, Mandolin, Banjo = $25 + Strings (Cleaning Included)

· 12-String Guitar, lap harp, etc. = $30 + Strings (cleaning Included)

· Autoharp (15 or 21 Chord) = $80 + Strings (Cleaning Included)

· Hammered Dulcimer = $110 to $175 + Strings (Cleaning Included)

SET-UPS:

· Any instrument Set-Up = $20 to $25 ( All set-ups also require the above charge for restring + cost of Strings )

· Includes – Fretboard Clean & Polish, Instrument Clean & Polish, Adjustment of Truss rod, String Height (Action) adjustment, Nut/Saddle adjustment, Intonation corrections, etc.

· 1 button = $10 (+ cost of button)

· 2 Buttons = $15 (+ cost of buttons)

STRAP BUTTON INSTALL:

· Tuning Machine Replacement = $20 to $50 (+ parts)

· Nut Slot Adjustment (fill or lower) = $10 to $15 (+ parts)

· Nut Replacement = $20 to $50 (+ material)

· Fret Installation (6 1/2 fret for dulcimer) = $25

· Pickguard and/or Armrest installation = $15 (+ material)

· Banjo Spike Installation = $30 per spike

· Banjo 5th String Capo Installation = $50 (+ cost of capo)

· Banjo Head Replacement = $100 and up
